ordering online
« on: June 24, 2013, 10:00:24 am »
Needed some spare parts to repair some wands. I normally order things on the phone as I am out working most of the time and expect delivery in most cases (from normal experience), the next day or the day after that.
I ordered some valve repair kits from woodbridge online. I did not tick the priority delivery box as I had a few days before I wanted my commercial wand for a job. A week later I realised that I had a large job the next day and had still not recieved the parts for the wand, so phoned Woodbridge and was told that as I had not ticked the priority delivery box my order was only just being processed and would be sent out that day. All in all a week and 2 days to get spare parts, it was just as well that it was not a busy time but I still ended up having to do a couple of jobs with a 12" wide wand.
is this the norm with online ordering from other suppliers?

Same here next day. Can't understand why not as its not much cheaper 2-3 days.

Next day for us too apart from a couple of areas of scotland where it takes 2-3 days.

We have been asked a few times recently if we do an alternative.

I am out of stock of monkeys at the moment but if you wait til next week the schools come off up here and I could get you some primary school children needing work for the summer. They arent quite as hairy as monkeys, this is an advantage as they dont leave hair anywhere. No tails on some of them though.

I think I may abstain from the children as its a bit too risqué for me anyway my 'little helpers' may get jealous and start a revolt.

I thought you sent them all down the mines in the summer holidays
