If you had only 1 stain product
« on: May 10, 2013, 01:35:42 pm »
I know there are different products for different spots and stains but if you could only take one product to a job which would it be?

A stupid question, if you want to be a pro then you need to be equipped to takle the things that you come up against. It is chemically impossible to tackle everything with one product.
If there is one thing that is more important than anything else in this industry it is training.
I have things in the van that I may use on very rare occasions but when you need them then nothing else will do.

There's no such thing. You need a wide range of stain removal products in your van to deal with a range of common stains.

If I was to take one spotter it would probably be a microsplitter, good for multiple applications and selling on.

Peter, stupid question why?
I said I know there's different products for different stains.
If you think it's stupid dont answer!
It's a general question to see if people have a favourite, I never suggested that 1 would remove all stains so no not stupid at all.

It does annoy me when some on here have to be so self righteous rather than just converse in a proper manner.

Its obviously a hypothetical question, and isnt stupid at all, its posing a challenge if you had only one product available to take, which would it be.

If you read the question right you'd understand how to respond to it !

Maybe a better question would be most used spotter??

For me it would probably be stain pro, or pure clean mixed to spotter strength

One spotter.....solvex every time (other cheaper and in my opinion inferior brands/copies available).

Instance being that on many occasions I get told "thats calpol", that is pretty easy to get out but its the sticky crap that is stuck to it that always proves more stubborn, a quick spray with solvex and a rub in with the toe of my shoe, flush out and all gone, saves a load of time.

Prochem stain pro is great, but the one I posted is even better as it removes the protein stains plus oil based, which means it removes the widest spectrum of stains, honestly try it.

Stain Pro would be 2nd for me.
