Valve repair kits

My Wonder Wand is dribbling again (no giggling at the back)
I'm about to order the repair kit, which (fair enough) worked last time, but having removed the old 'guts' nothing looks different - so what's causing the problem and how will the repair kit solve it?
Just curious

Wands can be like triggers brooms, try fitting an inline filter

Depending on how old the wand it, you might need to replace the whole valve/trigger assembly as the inner walls get knackard.

I would go with the dawg and change the whole thing if it's had a lot of use.
Next time you look for one it's sometimes a lot cheaper to get one fron the US if it's a high pressure soft touch valve...like £12 as opposed to £25 to £30. I can't understand why we get ripped off in this country

It is only the o rings and washers than come into contact with the metal, except on the areas where no seal is required. There are firms that will specialise in o rings and finding a local specialist will save you a lot of trouble in the future. With a micrometre they can identify sizes and allow you to carry stocks of all your requirements for pennies. They are getting harder to find as many have gone out of business. Finding the exact size o ring without this type of specialist is not easy.
