His business and rep is ruined now... what an idiot. I get end of tenancy custys saying can I just give them s receipt as the carpets are in top dollar condition, and don't need cleaning, just part of their end of tenancy agreement.  It's a 100% no no for me. I just tell them I'm here to clean it.  Not worth is. Takes years building your business and one silly thing to ruin it.

Negative marketing is never a good idea in my opinion, as it introduces something for the customer to worry about when they hadn't previously thought about it.  If they've already made it to your website why fill their minds with scaremainering, better to just mention the positive side of using your services.

people moan about price shoppers this is just one of many approaches. your taking about when they get to your sales page you should have other pages that funnel to your sales page. Steve your spot on they would have allready thought about it and thats where the page and content comes in, agreed not on a sales page

that page then funnels into your sale pages. now times this by many pages like this and you have quality content linking to your sales page that you control. thats also why wordpress is such a great tool it allows you to set up sites quickly and add content easily.

I have one site with great local position that is held up my a string of embeded videos from youtube on just one subject. how do I know? because i see them trending on my stats

insurance companies are getting a lot tougher with the way that they handle claims.
It is something that you do need to consider when approaching insurance related work. Like a lot of businesses they are having to tighten the belt and their biggest cost to their business is their settlements. In one situation our customer had to amongst a lot of other things supply his phone bills to the insurance company with the logs of the times that he spoke to us. This was one of the most aggressively investigated claims that I have ever been involved in, but I have a feeling that it is going to become more common and is a call to do things professionally in these situations.

i guess his reputation is hurt a bit but for me atleast, the customer never knows my full name until they get a card (but it could have any variation of a last name if needed) so the chance of them hearing about this is slim.

when i use a service i never google the company, i find them on google, like the look, give them a call and decide when meeting if i go ahead. any of the companies i've ever used could easily have the same done to them but i'd never know nor would i care.
