Ash scratching glass ?

Just got back from honeymoon so missed all the fun from Iceland.
Hows best way to clean glass as I read in yesterdays newspaper that washing your car could scatch paintwork if there is ash on it .Is it more water on applicator rather than minimum. Take it there is no prob with wfp

if u get any windows with ash on just rinse it first, that should sort it

just as u would rinse ur car or van off b4 you would wash that  ;)

a very wet app m8 & just be gentle with them. treat them like a woman  ::)  ;)

for trad,   just get a small brush on a stick and wash them down before u clean them
