Advance bookings
« on: April 23, 2010, 11:20:34 am »
I priced a job for a new customer on Tuesday this week the 20th of April.  A two-bed roomed apartment in a converted old Rectory.  We agreed a price and he said that he was quite specific with a date to which I said that I would do my best to work around him.  He then told me that he wanted the job doing on MONDAY 20th of SEPTEMBER, five months away!  (Err let me check if that date's available)  Anyway I booked it in and went off to another job.  It got me thinking if any of you guys have had new, not repeat or contract customers, book you up this far in advance?

had a 3 month one, she said she was a very organised person who doesn't like running round like a headless chicken at the last min. she'd even booked the removal company the same day she booked me. wish i was that organised :)
