i have just returned home after a successful afternoon canvassing but one quote in particular will stick in my mind forever.

i knocked on the door and as an old man answered i Spat my lyrics at him as per usual only to hear "BRING HIM TO ME" in a deep woman's voice below from within the house, i was ushered into the conservatory.

sprawled across a couch watching hollyoaks was a jabba the hut lookalike who seemed to be wearing a child's velour tracksuit she spent the next 20 minutes regaling me with tails of her glory days of being a magicians assistant and showing me pics of her in her hay-day. all the time letting me know how she used to have passion in her life and how her husband has not  touched her in years (which i fully understand)

to get out of there i offered a ridiculously high quote nearly 4x the going rate at which point she accepted.

not really sure if i want the money all that badly.
