my reply is going to be " as we dont know how much or if any will fall (ash) i want to keep your windows upto date but if you wish me to miss them i will have to charge extra if they end up with alot of ash on them to get them upto your usual standard "
if i lose the job so be it im not going to spend ages doing dirty windows for the same price

I don't get the connection - unless she was trying to say that because she had to pay to repair the machine she couldn't afford window cleaning too.  Without the explanation though it does sound a bit odd.

Got to a 1st clean today and the woman said if it rains and the volcanic ash comes down will you return to do them again, of course I will was my answer but will be charging another £25, she was proper fit too with a sexy Irish accent.....

Some daft woman waited until I set my hose up, then said to leave because I'd disturb the dog. dumped her, never bothered to inform her They only do it the once (really daft, lame excuses)
