How much does a 40 second advert cost - repeated at peak viewing times on a mainstream channel.
Anyone any ideas?

its not a bad advert we can pick fault with it but we are not Chemdrys market.

it will appeal to women.

I think think Chemdrys biggest problem is they use 'Chem' in thier name.

30sec advert  in middle of a soap £30K

Its totaly gay but i kinda like the advert. Puts the message across i.e. dry in an hour. Not a fan of Chempoope myself and i have no idea if they achive one hour drying times either....

Anything that raises awareness to use a professional has got to be better than all those bloody rug doctor ads  ::)

Chem Dry could be doing us all a favour.  Most people will watch it and get a couple of quotes I guess.

I see it as very good for all of us.

For example if a client has a leaflet through the door about carpet cleaning, it doesnt mean they will use just that company on the leaflet. What it does do is 'reminds' them that they still havent got round to sorting out the carpet clean (if they wanted one in 1st place) or puts the idea in there mind that they may consider having the carpet clean (if they didnt want it done).

They may well contact the company on leaflet first, but many will also look around (not neccecary for cheapest).

Same applies to the tv ad.

End of day it creates awareness for the industry and is imo good.

Chem Dry could be doing us all a favour.  Most people will watch it and get a couple of quotes I guess.

That's so true and I'll tell you why.
This time last year on early Saturday evening viewings was a programme called Primeval, this programme was sponsored by one of the large UK holiday companies (Haven or something like that).
We have holiday static caravans in Dorset which we rent out, and I joke not that once that programme was on the number of enquiries we would get was unbelievable, the other 6 days of the week were ok but early saturday evening :o

So yes CD advertising will benefit all of us.
