reading a few of the threads it seems to me that there are some of us who work with our other halves
can this really work?
how many do it?(work with partners)
how do they cope?
Wor Lass finds it hard work, but copes no problem. Not much anyway. She runs for the local running club and is getting quite a high standard. Her last Marathon was 3hours 43 minutes, which isn't bad at all (it takes me two hours to get round a half marathon). She runs at least 4 times a week and often does a 17 to 20 miler on a Sunday.
It's the training that knackers her for work!
There's two other window cleaners around here who work with their Missis and although the work isn't pleasant, the 'being your own boss' and 'better money' trade off outweighs some low paid job that you can fit in around your kids.
There are tax advantages too, although even if your missis doesn't work with you, you can still pay her for administrating your round.
Anyway, she's just walking the 'little un' to the playscheme bus and I've got to drive and pick her up as there's very little parking there. Then we've got to buy enough barbie food to feed 200 people for this evening's race that Chepstow Harriers are organising. I'm selling hot dogs, burgers and stuff!
I suppose the biggest advantage is that we're able to fit work around 'life', rather than fitting in your 'life' around work.
