roof cleaning

i have had someone come to me for roof cleaning, it not amazingly bad or anything but thought i would give it a bash, ive read all the previous discussions on this topic and just want to clarify what everyone think is the best way do it and what problems could i come into, would a cat ladder be suffice etc??

Check the roof space to see if there is a lining under tiles (if there isnt be very careful), work from the top of the roof down, use a tower (about £90 to hire), i work off of a roof ladder and use a body harness attached to the ladder, cover the area below with tarpalins, and make sure you charge the right money!!!!!

yes it does actually, what sort of tower and what is that for, and is it a cat ladder you use, could i ask you what you would charge for this place, the back is just straight down no extra bits on it. also how do you do safely the small side of the tile that you would have to pressure wash upwards.

for that roof there hire a cherrypicker you wont get round those dormers safely using ladders
