Name your price time
« on: April 15, 2010, 02:23:49 pm »
I have been asked by another cleaning company to quote some water treatment plants to clean the windows. I went to see one of them today and took some pics. They are to be cleaned twice a year, at the minute they are filthy with cobwebs, i would be tempted to powerwash them first then go at them with WFP.

In the pictures you will see an internal view of them, i counted the number of panels - there are around 28 of them.

This would be my first job of this kind so would appreciat some assistance on pricing and who knows if i get the price right a risk assesment!!

So prices for inside and out....go lol!!!

Cheers

For me, id say  £120 first clean £60 for a monthly clean.....

Just a word on cobwebs, they are very hard to get off with wfp

Might be worth going over them with a dry bush first...

Having a high daily post rate is generally inversely proportional to their hourly rate  ;)

Is that because your spine is curved from the weight of all that money in your back pocket !!!

They are to be cleaned twice a year. Each time will be like a first clean.

ladies please keep it on topic and clean!! Or else take it outside!!

I agree that only i can know the price, just like to put out a few feelers to get other ideas.

each clean will almost be like a first clean, but i don't believe they will ever be this bad again. The guy who was workin in the place has never known them to be cleaned before!

michael butcher - i don't intend to have a ladde anywhere near them so don't need to worry about that. Access isn't too bad

Yeah, I agree. The first clean will be worse than the subsequent ones.
Maybe give a price, grin and bear it first clean and then it`ll be easier and better paid from then on.

doesnt look like anything a good scrub cant handle but you wont know till you've tried

can you go and spot test one and make sure they are happy with what comes off, otherwise you might need to cherry pick the first clean to bring them up really good, or they might be ok with it and at least you wont have any issues getting paid if you go ahead wfping and they dont come up 100 %

why not do just one pane, see how long it takes and then take it from there....
