Yell.com?
« on: April 14, 2010, 04:31:58 pm »
Got a cold call from yell.com offering website on google. yahoo etc plus yell listing. 70-80 quid a month. Thought that was pretty steep! And find the staff who call pretty aggressive. I said Id think about it she said 'whats there to think about'. 80 quid for a start! Anyone else use them and if so was it worth it?

Thats quite a bit. And you think most of it is through them? Is it a high google listing?

spend your money on some leaflets!!! Yell and yellow pages are struggling!! you can get a free listing on yell anyway. unless you are a big commercial player forget it! honestly, treat your missus with the money!! ;)

yell is great guys

i get loads of calls a month from it

would i like a new phone contract

would i like a website designed and ranked number 1 in google

would i like a license to play music in my work place

now you are thinking " matt you have missed the number of phone calls about window cleaning " i get a few of them, normally end of tenancy cleans miles away from me and normally a flat :( not worth it for me

The salespeople who work for yell  could sell igloos to eskimos !
If they ring you put the phone down straight away ! . . . . . . . . . . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
