« on: August 05, 2005, 10:48:56 pm »
hi all ,

As you know i got my wfp 2 weeks ago and have yet to start useing it proply, its sitting there not making me money.  On monday ive got some comercial work to do an old peoples home, and hoped to use it on that.  Ive cleaned my own windows and my mums but they came up spotting, I want to use it on monday but am worried im gonna get lots of complaints.

I ve tried booking in to a one day course with ionics for £95 but their booked up till sept.

what should i do on monday ( ladders or wfp ) and how can i stop them spotting ?

All replies greatly appreciated

I reckon you should get your pole out OOOER !
If you are the usual cleaner of yours and your mothers windows the chances are they were poop high , as mine are !
Give the wrinklys home a go if it dont work out do it trad , that way you will know if you need the days course or not , who knows , i may have saved you £95  !

im a wfp newbie like you but heres the tips ive read on here, rinse the window first, then brush paying attention to corners and the top of frames then rinse THREE times when you are cleaning a window with wfp for the first time, this has been the best method for me so far. also make sure your brush is not too soft, if the bristles are splitting at the ends they are too soft and will cause spotting. Then you have to make sure your tds reading is 000-010 at the brush. Also make sure that the water you rinse with does not come into contact with the bristles which have dirt on them or it will no longer be pure and will spot. I learnt this the hard way :-[ . like a say im a neewbie to wfp so ive still alot to learn but hope this may be of some help.

And first of all really thoroughly do that top frame where it meets the glass (but avoid the vent and the brickwork/rendering)
It's a game of three halves!

IF YOU NOT SURE OF YOUR SKILLS: W/F/P the complex then use your ladders to squezze the lot of them you will have no marks.
might seem a... around t.. and defeat the object of using wfp
but you will not lose the customer.IF  ITS A GOOD CUSTOMER ITS WORTH IT.

it will mean they will be suprised at the pvc results and a very few spots can be a selling point.

with a self cleaning brush head there is no need to hold the brush away from the window when rinsing.

Are all the brushes self cleaning, or is this a silly question ?
