SOAPNATIONAL
« on: April 09, 2010, 05:13:28 pm »
Placed a tiny order for just 2 new belt pouches yesterday. They were only £5 each & the delivery was £4.

Off their own back they reduced the delivery charge to exactly what it was= £2.65 with a padded envelope!

They arrived today & are of excellent quality. ;)

I know this doesn't amount to much but it's the fact they didn't profiteer from the standard online postage charge. :)

I like little touches like that from a company, it gives a good vibe & confidence in them.

Soapnational are brilliant - I use them for ro-man  type membranes and resin - nowhere cheaper. I also use them for trad stuff too - but obviously not so often now as I'm wfp.

I just tried to add their cheaper no name resin £59.99 + vat +del and it comes to 74.48 but out of stock anyway.
Daqua sell Tulsion for £72.50 delivered.

Not quite right there gold ;)

I'm actually a Yorkshireman living in scotland, they don't come much tighter than that!! 8)

I just like things like that though, it makes good business sense as for sure I'll remember it. :)

i ordered a few bits from them , but it turns out the carrier didnt show up to collect the stuff .   rather than create any delay, the main guy personally drove to my home with the goods. a free microcloth was inside with my order too

 first class service

A very good supplier.  I bought nearly all my trad stuff from them before switching to WFP.  Back then their prices were generally the lowest.  I think it was a £4 charge for delivery in those days too.  However, I would just order a quantity.  Two or three bits of scrim would make up for the postage charge never mind the lower prices on the rest of it.
