tried mine out a few times seams very good only fault i have is gets through water very quickly as only got a lance done a bungalow roof that came up really good, i was thinking of doing a short vid when i get going properly to stick on our website we have a website for all the cleaning we do but i want another 1 just for pressure washing so still got plenty to do thought vid very good

IMHO,and i dont mean to sound negitive,ditch that fsc,why you may ask,with the flow rate you have on the unit get yourself a twin turbo nozzle,from what i see in the video it didnt remove the lichen(correct me if i'm wrong) which we all know is a sod to remove unless you use a pre treatment or heat ,you still had to go over it with a lance/nozzle setup.

Little tip invest in a water broom ideal for the final rinse down,sweeping with a brush is a waste of time and tbh you really get no where doing it as your just moving the crap around your'll see one day when you come up to a really bad mossy one theres also the hassle of wet sand to  

At least you had from what i see was a quite a flat drive,with fsc problems occur when you have dips what happens is your'll create a pond under the fsc,unless you got real power the thing just ponds and the jets dont have a good effect

The video is good,but a bit more about the unit would have been nice,ie what it can do and what you can do with it.
Also might be an idea to do a part 2,go back on a really dry day and show how to do the re-sanding summit thats not showen alot on youtube
All in all least you had the balls to do a video,which is more than i would(be to busy laughing all the time )

Thinking about it now,you may struggle actually with twin turbo as they need a very high output
3000-5000psi  270-300+ bar

Just watched them clean a roof at the top of our Avenue.
They just used a pressure washing lance.
Looks great till you look at the state of the next 3 or 4 houses
down the road, there windows and doors are black.
What happens when you miss a cracked tile, doesn't the water
get into the roof void?
Looks like an ideal compensation claim job.
Any weakness in the roof and pressure washing is going to find
it and exploit it.
There painting that roof as I sit here having my dinner.

Nice outfit i use the same surface cleaner find it very good and a lot cheaper than the whirlaway, you still have to run a feed from the customer supply to the bowser when drive cleaning.

we have about 1 hour of water on board so depends how big the driveway is, that one needed a feed. all though if they were on a meter we would of done it with 2 trips, and we have 60 gallon of water on the van which can be fed into the bowser if need be.

Use the cliets water weather there on a meter or not(if possible),yer its ok to go to the job with your own water,but as you said you would have had to go back for a refill,think about lost time doing that packing up all your gear waterproofs off(unless you can drive in wellies) then the nearset place for a free refill is 5- 10 mile away through busy traffic, the time it takes to refill,back through that traffic,then setup again and carry on what we saying here 1,2 hours more maybe 3 lost time

A good gesture would be knock a few quid off the bill,saves you the hassle,plus if you've got another job booked in at a certain time that day chances are your gonna be late,cliets hate lateness

Believe it or not ppl on meters aren't charged by how many ltrs they use its done by the cubic volume of water which if you look at a bill its not as much as you think,bung a tenner in there hand towards the bill they soon shut up,lol

i think in a previous post bdcs worked out water for an 8hour day works out about £20 a day, which is pretty cheap i would say

own water supply is used as a USP, anything to give yaself an edge, i use the same USP for my truckmount with carpet cleaning, "totally self sufficient using our own water and power" i still use the clients electric and i'll still use there water for pressure washing. just looks good on the CV if you can do without.

derek i have water on board now myself but i have used the custies water for 9 years. no one has ever questioned it. just keep a bit of water in bowser and connect your hose when you arrive to keep it topped up.  i go over the whole lot with whirlaway then use turbo to swill down and remove any lichen or roots etc. i find the fan spray not good enough.

and you spelt debris wrong. you put debri on your video.

just dont want custies thinking you cant spell as it does not look good.
