how often do you do your regular domestic cleans? every 5-6 weeks? If you get a nice posh house should you push them for every4 weeks?

as often as they want them doing within reason most of my work is 4 weekly, some 2 weekly and a handfull of 8 weekly.

Every 4 weeks usually say every 4 to 6 weather depending which allows us for if we ever need days off or just crappy weather

4 weekly works best with WFP. If the weather isn't overly insulting then the windows are still relatively clean after 4 weeks.

After 6 they need a bit more of a scrub, after 8 you really need to give them a proper seeing to.

90% of my domestic custys are 4 weekly.i try and get round but a lot of the time its 5 weekly.i have some better priced 6 weeklies and 8 weekly stand alones.

i find a lot of the bigger posh houses tend to go for 6 weekly/8 weekly.

I was 5-6 weekly for about 3 years as we struggled to get round, Mainly due to staff not pulling their weight.
I had a major shake up a few months back and now run on 4 weeks bang on. No problems and only a few changed to 8 weeks.
Now looking to increase the size of the business by 50% by the end of the year. (more staff)
If your customers are used to 4 weeks keep it that way, increasing to more is counter productive imo.
More customers, same income each week. whats the point?

I like to charge as high as possible, and keep the frequency to 2 monthly.  I usually explain that most window cleaners prefer to do them every four weeks, but say that I don't think they need doing that regular; and then quote a high price for every other month.  I've got loads on that frequency now, all well paying jobs, and they usually appear happy to see me when I turn up, rather than 'Oh no, not you again' type attitude.

I have the same thought process except I am 6-8 weekly. I price well and get approx 90% of jobs quoted

Couple at 4 weekly and then 8,12,16,32 and 64...8 weekly is not as bad as people think...

  32 and 64!  That's a year between cleans!
