pressure washing prices?

did a job today, took 2 hrs and charged £100.. do you think thats ok or should i charge by square metre?

i usually just guess a price and hope i havent oversold/undersold myself

was thinking £5 a square metre? wont have to worry then?

I think the standard rate is £2.50 - £3 per sq/mtr for washing alone. Extra for re-sanding & sealing of course.

I have priced 100's of jobs.

I have considered per m2 as you suggested.

I have yet to see someone with a pricing system that satisfies how long it takes vs how much to charge.

I guess how long a regular clean will take and work it out to an hourly rate.

Often I will get this wrong. I find if you are open and honest with the customer they are usually OK when you tell them "sorry I totally under priced this job, I'll do it for the quoted price this time but if you want me to come back next time it'll be £X".

I do try to avoid doing this but it is better than coming back next time and doing a half assed job.

£100 for 2 hour sounds cheap to me.

Especially if you consider that they couldn't even rent a machine for that......

pushing a whirl-away knackers, you or you just using a lnce, either way, you need to hot the gym and think yourslef lucky you dont do a proper days work :D  :P  :-*

You want to try doing it every day for 10 months of the year :'(

We Charge per m2!!! That way you look a bit more professional ;)

But you can go anywhere from £1-£5 per m2 it all depends on size & surface!
