the "about us" page is more like a life story. People don't want to know that you have came from a catering trade.

Friendly and homely - good for domestic clients.

Agree about life story - your pay and your empire (while meant to be jocular) might grate on some - but keep the bit about being in the Merchant Navy - folk like ex-service/police type backgrounds it lends a certain gravitas. Tosh is the exception that proves that rule.

"Shiney" and "definately" should be shiny and definitely.

looks good.  And you will find you will make improvements as time goes on. But great in the short time.  Only neg bit would be your slogan about being dirty.  But am sure it will help google bring some punters your way from the young gents who were looking for something else dirty

Would it help if you made the navigation bar bigger...its quite small compared to the rest of the text,dont you think?.
It does the job tho...get it optimised and get it submitted to lots of directories and it will get you work.

the "Talk dirty to us" bit on the splash page is a bit off putting to be honest. As has already been said, the splash screen does you no favours,.. its one more opportunity for viewers to change their mind and look elsewhere before even seeing your site. You also really need to add some search engine optimisation.

Jason,.. you really need to add a photo to your home page and a prominent list of locations you cover on at least 2 pages. Then you need to change the page titles to include some of your service names so instead of "Crystal Clear Home Page" it'll be "Window cleaning in Town1 and Town 2". Then read up a bit on meta tags,... it'll really help you get ranked better in Google.

There's no point having a great looking website if no one can find it!
