will u please clarify the name situation as some are geting accounts deleted with out notice, and other are receiving emails telling them to change there name and other aint,

If you go about your business without fuss, then you will have no problems.

All new members have to use there real names.

If you cause trouble you will be asked as a first option, to change your name.

It is a s simple as that

I think the issue is not around the name changing as such,  it is the fact accounts have been deleted without warning.  I think it need investingating properly.

Also are we ok to use nick names providing are profile reads our correct names in the text somewhere ?

From what I remember I think you had a run in with Jason, so he asked you to change your name from what I can remember, i could be wrong ?

Everyone else with a change of name will also have a story to tell.

I can tell you deleting accounts is not the norm and there is usually a reason behind it.

They have now revealed peoples "usernames", which at the time of creating the account, I am sure they stated that they would not.

This is the only change I can think of really!

I had to create a 'fake email' to get in back in here after I deleted my old account and tried to get back in with my normal e-mail.

Unfortunately after not hearing from CIU in over a week after re applying for membership, my paranoia kicked in and I created a fake e-mail to get back in.

It's not about having anything to hide, it's about protecting your e-mail from 'spammers'.  If I wanted to be naughty, I could copy your e-mail and put it into various places on the internet and you would be overflowing with spam e-mail in a very short time.  And I mean you would be swamped.

And 'spammers' harvest e-mails from sites such as this.

It's not about hiding, but protecting yourself from idiots.
