That`s for a variable speed one, which they don`t stock yet anyway  ::)
The ones in stock  (like the WCW,one speed setting) are about £100.

They all come from China!
I have the WCW backpack, and never had an issue with it, with the chargeing problems, make sure the backpack is off then put it on charge even if it shows green still keep it on charge for several hours.
With it not working try checking the fuse for the pump.
They do tend to go now and then.

I have been looking at the same backpack as shurflow, they are also made in China.
I am weighting for an email about how much they can sell me the units for.

puts me off a bit knowing its from china.  I have a mate who got in one of those cheap motorbike imports from China.  Nothing but trouble.

PDR,
Google Williamsons Pumps, do a search for backpack. It`ll bring up the Shurflo but keep going down the page for the other.

Matt, I thought Shurflo were American  ???.

Shurflo might be american but the backpacks they put their name too are made by a company from China.
I am enquiring about a load of backpacks with a different colour cap.

My one has a clunk from the pump until i open the flow valve, then it fires up................but it also won't fire up if the connection from backpack to hose is not secure (tight). I have an autostop hozelock connector which will sometimes stick and the pump won't run, as water can't flow. Soon as I give the valve a prod in the connector and connect it back up, its fine. Its probs not your problem, but its best to try all options.

Why not just run a 12v direct to the pump to eliminate any battery probs ??

If it still don't run, could be the pressure switch ??
If Carlsberg made window cleaners....I'd be one of them....lol
