Dave can you record a message stating the office is closed for the bank holiday?

Just a thought as this use to happen to me when I was in Leicester, I'd take my boys to the cinema and the phone would ring from customers.

Dave, I had a women stop a cheque once because I had left a streak on her patio door.
I still have that cheque from all those years ago, it was for £3.00.

Is that why she cancelled the cheque, the sight of Dai`s littl`un at her patio door?

This is the EXACT reason i only give out my mobile number now

1 night it was just gone 12.00 ( midnight ) and we were all in bed, i had just started so my daughter was about 3 - 4 months old

the phone rings

them : Oh hi matt

Me : hmmmmmmmm hi

them : we have just got back from holiday today and notice you have cleaned our windows, we will post the cheque in the morning

Me : you do realise the time, i was asleep

them : oh i thought i would give you a ring

i hung up before i let them know what i thought of them

after that, its just my mobile, i know the argument for " you look like a pikey, you dont look professional , blah blah blah " BUT i dont think its held me back much and in this day and age where everyone has a mobile and they have access to me 24 / 7 ( they dont, but thats the opinion of a mobile ) , its worked for me and saved me having idiots wake up my family with silly phone calls

Funnily enough, we hadn't even missed the window.

It had just been blowing a gale on that side of the house and they thought we had missed it, with it getting dirty again.
