pidgeon waste chemical?

Hi Guys,

Have got to remove some pidgeon waste for one of my commercial customers and they have asked me to spray the area with a pesticide when clear!!! Anyone know where i can get some as have goggled it and cant find anything suitable!!!

the chemical is called ornikill and you dilute it and use through a sprayer its a biocide  you can find on the internet under this name  or try the pest shop!     jamie

thats  right expecially in confined areas 3m masks are very good read up on internet type in pigeon guano removal theres companys deal with this all the time thay would say on there sites the precortions etc

I done one last year in a church bell tower so got all the gear then!!! Full 3M face mask, disposable coveralls, boot covers, chemical gloves, gaffer tape for taping gloves to coveralls ;)

Looked like i was about to go on a space mission ;D

my wife does crime scene/ trauma cleaning and ive helped her a couple of times walking up the town in brighton about 6 oclock in the evening fully suited up with masks and tyvek suits and carryiny bio-hazard bags you get some funny looks!!!!

What it it about pigeon guano this year ? i did one last month and quoting on one in Dover tomorrow. PX ornikill ain't cheap !

You only need a waste carriers licence and an idea of the inplications helps - pigeon guano carries allsorts of bad things, full ppe and a chemical

Being a waste carrier you will get the correct code and dispose in the correct manor, in theory its biowaste but when thoroughly disinfected with the correct chemical it can go to landfill

The dead birds have to go to incineration - as per any pest control job via a farm incinerator or vets and the guano to landfill. Do you disagree ?

Do i disagree .. not so much, just after the person, company or organisation you got you information from with regards to the disposal method ect.
