Thanks for your input debbie, all advice is appreciated at the moment!! Well went today and sorted out the points he had listed! luckily everything went without a hitch and he seemed happy! I took my own photo's to show him when i took the keys back of the points mentioned and he seemed pleased with the work, and said on the whole everything was done to a high standard! So cant all be bad!

He seemed fine to be honest, and pleased at my prompt return to rectify the problems! And as of yet had no email from him with any further problems so fingers crossed! Just gotta wait to get paid now!!

Also collect the keys for my second property from the same agent today, going to be meticulous with this one and hopefully not get a call back!

Got loads of mould and mildew to clear of the walls so may take a while!!  :-\

Hi

Done one in a basement recently, all over the walls, windows, skirting etc.

Spray on detox mould and mildew remover (green bottle £2.50 )Spray on all the mould and leave the property for about 5-10 mins and it should all of gone, no elbow grease required.

Regards

Your price sounds about right for the job you did.

BUT!

Are you a registered waste remover contractor, its a bity of paper you need from your local town council to say you can (guess what) remove waste.

If you are a bona fide business you have to have one to take rubbish away, thars why carpet fitters etc dont take away bagged rubbish.

Costs about £60 I believe, also it will show your LA that you are serious about what you do. Ask him if your competitors have theirs.

Good luck in your business.
