hi rob

i think we have spoken about this before and as i said i wasnt sure weather to get a dry sream unit or a wet steam pressure washing unit.

i did get a 3000psi steam trailor unit but i was still after a portable unit if the price is right

if i remember right yours is a trailor unit isnt it

but thanks anyway

It would certainly require space in a van (dedicated) for the generator, or set up in a trailer because of the size of the genny.

It is a 12Kva genny and weighs about 200kilos so is not easily shifted about. The twin operator chewing gum removal machine is easily moved about but makes the one in the picture look like a toy. It is in immaculate condition.

It's not going anywhere and is in dry storage if nothing else comes up.

Many thanks

I think the draw is too big. The dimensions of the genny are 4' by 3'  by 3' - 240 volt and 3 phase. The actual chewing gum machine is 3 phase as well - hence the big genny!

I've got the same steamer as in the OP's pic, without the gennie and trolley.
It's an Osprey DC3000.

Always having problems with it overheating and the needle on the gauge shoots down from press of trigger. Would like some help sorting it if anyone knows.

Also got a Vega Plus and even that overheats.

Not used both machine since August probably.

Any help appreciated.

I am not mechanically minded but if it is over heating I would say that the thermostat is knackered.

When I switch mine on they build up to pressure and then over say a 15 minute period I get a reduction of steam flow as the steam reduces and water is added to the heating cylinder, which then repeats the cycle.

After the initial warm up they are quite quick to then heat up.

Are you getting steam. how long is the steam lasting??

From what I can remember using it back then it heated up fine(6 bar for the DC3000)and ran ok for 10 mins, plenty of steam as normal then the steam would just cut out but you can still hear the sound that it gives off from heating up. The needle will rise back up and by pressing the steam button on the lance the needle shoots back down and no steam.
