i bought a few pair of them cheap wool thinsulate ones they sell in garages, ok in the cold, and when winding in reels, and if they get wet, just swap them,  went looking for special gloves at gardiners and wintecs,  but everything they had in was not 100% water proof, so i thought sod it wasnt going to pay a fortune for gloves when i could get them for £1 a pair

e-bay DAM Neoprene fishing gloves £4:95 i use them and if you buy a few pairs ask them to only charge one lot of p&p, had them 2 months now and no wear yet.

Honest!!!

They are machine washable, water - proof and hard wearing.
