I stand corrected.... Its actually £780, £650 was 10 months.

They are bending us over big time. Were a partnership with about 4 business's but my wife does the books for all of them perfect. Last year the accountant said that my wife did the books just as they do them. She's had no training at all.

Were adding another business or two this year and should be going ltd too.

The accountant said it should have been more as they didn't realise it was more than one business.

I think the rule is 5% of turnover (they reckon to save you that). Mine, however is only £140ish, which I'm very happy with.

You want to look at around £150 for a sole trader with 1 set of accounts. As a ballpark figure. I used to pay £40, but he dropped me after 5 years cos he's semi-retired and mine wasn't much work.
Forget about poles and kit etc. The accountants fee will be the best money you will ever spend in business.

And have 5 dragons and an accountant rape my proffits, I think NOT !

No business has cost more than £2k to set up (equipment costs), 1) £2k, 2) £200, 3) didn't cost a penny, 4) didn't cost a penny.

5) Well that's prototype costs, which won't come to more than £500

6) Won't cost anything
