« on: March 09, 2010, 05:27:15 pm »
hi
i have a trolley system that had a new pump about 3 months ago, for the last couple of days i have noticed a lot of air coming through in the water from the pump to the brush head and sometimes have to take hose off brush head and suck water with my mouth to get it going again. any ideas what could be causing this ????

sounds like a air leak in your pipes check all fastings and hoses again. What type of back pack is it.The pump can also suck in air.

Sounds like an air leak between the tank and the pump.

Sorry mate, I thought I read b pack its a trolley sounds like a air leak between pump and the water tank. This could mean pipes aswell take it apart and refit with thread tape and fasten titly check pipes, blow through and close the ends and see. Good luck.

I had the same problem the other day, air was getting in through a hairline crack in a hozelock connector. I fixed it with electricians tape, but you have reminded me to change the connector tomorrow.
