Sometimes fsc is loads faster, sometimes, same type of work, fsc is just a pain in the a.hole. :'(

It all depends. When i figure out what it depends on - I'll sell it on E-bay !

Was thinking of getting a water broom - might come in handy one day.

do you mean the HP water broom like this one?

http://www.northerntooluk.com/pressure-washer-accessories/lances/400mm-water-broom_222552E.html?fhsearchterm=water+broom

I have one, there ok esp for that final rinse down but can be a bit of work using you dont actually use a sweeping motion its more of a side to side the weight of the HP hose holds you back a bit.
that price has gone up,only paid £57 for mine  ::)
Been there,seen it,done it,just cant remember when

Save your money and rinse down with a lance on lower pressure,TBH not really worth spending out the money, btw, have mine for forty squids ;)

I have a 22" fsc with detachable wheels and brush ring from Merrill Fox about 2 years ago, brilliant tool, also he supplied a 4-nozzle water broom for about £18. which goes on the end of the lance. Also a great tool. The fsc is great for avoiding overspray (windows, cars, plants etc.) but because the available pressure is split between the two nozzles the force is halved and it wont get off stubborn algae etc. Turbo nozzle best for this or even ordinary one, but more mess. Water broom is great for flushing away as the pressure is then split four ways so it is more controllable.  My pw was about £350 +vat & carr. (2007) from a dealer in Ireland its 3600psi, 16lpm interpump and honda lookalike 13hp pullstart.
