i pressure washed a tennis court last year and have been asked to do it again.
thing is that is made from tarmac and has moss growing on it, the last time i cleaned it i got most of the moss off but there was still some in the gaps, i advised the owner to spray weed killer on it to prevent growing back but he didnt bother

The 1st time i pressure washed it was with the whirlaway but didnt clean it properly and ended up using the lance and took over a day to clean

What would you recommend to spray on the moss prior to pressure washing to make it easier to remove and how long would you leave it to soak?

you dont need to spray anything on steve. sometimes dead moss is harder to shift than alive moss.

if your whirlaway is working to 200 bar you should have no problem cleaning the moss off.

a tennis court usually takes around 4 hours to clean if moderately mossed but ban take a day if thick moss.

its usually 2 hours to clean up and down with whirlaway and 2 or 3 hours to swill off.

the swilling off is daunting with the lance as you have to cover all the court.

i have just quoted 4 courts.

the courts i quoted were 566 square metres each,  you dont just quote the actual court but the whole area around the court so price accordingly.  and the fact the moss grows back is great as you get it every year.

i have a 200 bar cold pressure washer with a 20 inch whirlaway and it took me over a day to clear last time, the moss must be an inch thick at the mo

jesus an inch thick!!       i reckon you should charge around £500- £600

its up to an inch in places and there are sections that arnt to bad
I do the windows for them at the mo so dont want to charge to much but after last time i dont want to do it for peanuts, i was just hoping you would say ' just spray some and it will take half the time'
