Ive been using one of these Chinese trolleys for 18 months with no problems well worth the money just be carefull when filling them as the water can run down into the flow control all i do is put a sill cloth at the back and that stops any problems.They hold over 35 litres makes a big difference from the usual 25 if mine last me 2 years i would of been more than happy and its still going great just now.Mine cost £230 from Red Hat Diving i would never buy a Pure Freedom or Xline trolley £600+ total rip off.

Well my dad, for some reason, has his heart set on the Bayersan 55 ltr trolley (which is £500 inc 24ft pole) but I would rather take the advice from you guys since you know what your talking about.

I was also thinking of getting a van setup (and putting it in the back of the car) but were worried about the hose trailing across the pavement, and some idiot deciding it would be a good idea to trip over the pipe, and sue. (or am i just going over the top?)

The man from "the xxxxxxxxxxxx" said he had the trolley built up and ready to take out (this was on thursday) and he said come on the Saturday to pick it up. 1 hour and half driving later, we turned up, and he said "We havent built the system up yet" which was annoying, so he said he would ring us on saturday, which he still hasnt! So forget him.

Also, my moms brother will be doing the window cleaning on the weekdays, and us on the weekend which is why we need something easy to transfer from car to car. (But I suppose a board like Vince Green said wouldn't be too hard in swapping over to each car)

So ive got around £750 to spend on a setup.

What would you guys get with £750 to start up a window cleaning round!

Jake dont buy the 55ltr trolley whatever you do ive got the exact same trolley bought mine from Omnipole total crap the hose reel broke on mine on the first day also there is a design flaw the front castor wheels buckle with the weight when the trolley is full stay well clear.

i have and like the brodex trolley, i know a few people on hear dont like brodex, but i find them a great company to use.

They did me a deal when i got there trolley in decmember, They did a 25ft alloy hydra pole and trolley system for £490 + vat.

Give them a call and see what they can do. The trolley holds 50L of water, plus big wheels which are easy to use on all areas.

you need :

a sack truck
a pump box from cleantech
10 X 25 L barrels from your local carwash ( though cleantech sell them aswell )
a battery ( pop along to a garage on your local industrial estate, they will have some old 1's from cars , get a few of them and 1 or 2 will hold enough charge for you to work all day )
a battery charger ( halfords do them )
a selection of hose and fittings
a pole and brush ( its a personal choice this )
as 100 GPD RO system
210 L rain water butt to store your water in ( or 2 of them when you need more water )

and a couple of hours to set it up

the xline is the best,looks the best and far more easier to carry,no filling up,just change containers so much easier.

With xline starter pack you get ro di pole and everything you need.
Think these cheap plastic ones on ebay are ok as a backup.

OK Darren has been lucky but I was thinking of buying them in to sell UNTIL I saw one for real. That is how I know the supplier.

if you want to look good and proffesional get a xline or pure freedom,if you dont get a dodgy one that looks awfull and will last 6 months if your lucky!
buy cheap ends up costing much more in the long run!

Surely the message is clear by now. Buy British!

British steel welded up by British workers to a British design has got be be better than anything that comes out of China.

I've got a Pure Freedom and it gets bounced around everywhere and always stays together.

British = quality
Chinese = junk.

Why not wait until Windex and go and see what's available? You'll also be able to pick the brains of the friendly and knowledgeable guys who go there.

to be honest the average domestic customer couldnt care less
i used to use a freedom trolley but no one ever saw it because
it was always in my vehicle after the first few weeks i used it
as a van set up so the only thing my customers saw was hose
and a pole.

i now use a backpack which personally i find quicker, the bottoms
been split and repaired the lids split and i have replaced the pcb
with a on off switch which hangs off the sidewith areturn from the pole
to the back pack its not a pretty sight but my customers new and
old still remark on what an amazing idea to clean this way and what
really great piece of equip it is...a battery and a pump sending water
up a pole to clean windows

i liked my freedom trolley but the only difference to me is that it
had a larger battery.would i pay 600-700 for pump battery and hose
on a sack truck now.

How do you fill your back pack. I dumped my trolley to go van mount as I was always topping up barrels and got so fed up of wet feet.
I use a back pack for the backs of terrace houses but it's really slow to refill from the van.

I see by your comment about Cleewindows you are somewhat lacking in diplomacy skills. That doesn't surprise me

For your info yes the price was peanuts so they suit being used by a monkey.

60 U.S. dollars each was the price FOB so even at £230.00 there is a tidy profit to be made from importing and selling them on. That was at the time when the exchange rate was around 2 dollars to the pound so for approx 30 quid I could have bought them and didn't think they were worth that amount.

I am merely trying to help someone who has asked a question here about these. It's up to him what he decides to do. Seems you react rather absurdly to anyone who disagrees with you doesn't it?

WOW talk about double standards.

Have a look at this.

Have a look at the Powerflight 1350 top machine 500psi 2 vacs with and great heat also Amtech have seen sense and ditched the cheap Chinese vacs and went back to the Imperial vacs.

I do pop on here every now and then to see what is going on in the big wide world and how folks are getting on but sometimes it's worth it just for a good laugh

Dan if you dont agree with me fair enough but when i here daft coments like you dont look profesional unless you have a Freedom Trolley or Xline Trolley utter nonsense.Dan the Chinese trolleys are far from perfect but they work fine and i no a few window cleaners that have them just out of interest can you tell me exactly what it is you dont like about them.
