Hey everyone, wanted to thank everyone for this awesome forum, its given me alot of information!
Im in the process of setting up a small round in Hereford, which is pretty well saturated with window cleaners as im finding out! Any tips and advice on canvassing and getting customers, im looking at doing rural stuff as it seems most of the estates in town are catered for. Should i try these areas or avoid them so as not make enemys with some of the 'dodgy looking' cleaners round here!
 Been out all day today and managed to get 8 regulars, 1 bi monthly and one conservatory roof job, all pretty spread out at the moment though!!
Any advice is more than welcome!

Lol! sorry!! yes mate definately interested, two of my regulars are comercial places in town so would happily take it on, one think though. I'm not using WFP only traditional, does that matter??

my advice

just keep on walking and knocking on doors, the more you knock on, the more you will pick up

do a good job, be polite and friendly, and them customers will recommend you in time

Cheers matt! must admit that WC i met this morning damped my spirits a little, but guess all WC's out there arent so friendly and helpful as most on here!!

Don't let 'em get to you. They don't own anywhere. You can come & go as you please. Customers can choose who they want to clean there windows.
