Hi Andy yes this is a totally different round in a totally different much wealthier area.

MB, apart from your costs of running a vehicle and equipment once youve bought your gear, the round is virtually all clean profit in any case. isn't that why we are all window cleaners?! so profit and turnover aren't that different in my experience this must be he highest profit margin of any business Ive come across?? the price is £30000 and won't budge the interest in it has been overwhelming and Ive been offered  close to my asking price already.

Thanks for your advice though MB.

Cheers Matt

Thanks for the post Jack Wallace you are right in that it is a part time but it is a part time round for what a lot of people would consider very good full time money.

Its the opportunity to earn a good living for working one week a month that I believe has to be worth £30000.  I think anyone sitting on that kind of money out of work would be mad not to go for it.

Thanks Matt

let us know how you get on with it, and prove us sceptics wrong. I'll keep an eye on the ebay page with interest. Good luck and I do hope you get what your asking for sincerely.

I agree it is a great opportunity for someone providing the round stays together, and I really hope you get your price. Although I think the price is high I am also glad to see window cleaning finally being valued for what it is. A great business lifestyle.
As soon as I hit 50 I will be packing in and retiring to my place abroad so in 3 years and 4 months time (not that I am counting) I will thank people like you for pushing up the values. Keep up the good work  ;)

If this round is what matt says it is its worth every penny. How can he be charging too much when he has ran a succesful business charging these prices? Thats why we have Waitrose and Aldi.  There are different markets within an industry. I know of rounds that have fetched 10x the monthly value of the round. Your buying a business and if you have an iota of common sense you wont lose hardly any customers. In fact with new enthusiasm a round can become larger very quickly.

Consider the following,  a man who lives in london and has worked full time for years wants to take a lifestyle change and semi-retire somewhere with his wife maybe kids. He sells his house for 400k,  buys a house in cambridge for 300k and this round. he now works 75%-50% ( 50% if he takes his time) less than he did and has much more time to himself and for his family (and lives in a much nicer place). In buying this round he has also made an investment.

I wonder what value this man would put on the round and the opportunity it could mean for him.

Beauty (or value) is in the eye of the beholder my friends

Thanks TLC just turned down £25000 for it Im 100% I'll get the price I want and that the buyer will think they have a bargain.

I think a lot of us have sold work to cheaply in the past it surely has to be worth a lot more.

How long have you been traveling 210 miles for to do this work, 3hrs 45 mins there and then back for 5 days ???

If you had this kind of work why wouldnt you stay in that area and build a full round earning roughly 10.5k a month (130ka year) but you would prefer to live in Durham.

Yeah too good to be true, plus its kind of abusing the forum turning it into wcroundsforsale surely with that turnover you can affort an advert on there to catch the eye of window cleaners. It doesn't bother me really though.

Although I do get the maths ok. 500 per day 5 days - £2500 every four weeks would be 13 cleans a year 13x2500 = £32500.

Not really well over £30k and thats only if you dont get any days off with weather or holidays.

days off when you only do one week in 4 lol
