do you think you can buy a professional machine for £175 :
they are all crap, if you are just doing your own drive once a year then they just might do the job but if you are going to offer a cleaning service to your customers then either spend over a grand (if buying new) or don't bother
13hp, 15lts/min & 3500psi any lower and it won't do the job.

Way before we got into pressure washing I owned a Karcher. I had it well over 10 years and it's still working great and looking like new. I know because I gave it to my brother last year.
For own use these are fine. Even a small patio will take what seems like forever but they will do a reasonable job. Be sure to include Karchers own 'dirtbuster' lance. This is a turbo nozzle and will noticeably speed things up for you.

Anybody rate Nilfisk?
Seems a good package.
Guess who just got his new Machine Mart catalogue?

or Karcher

On paper the Nilfisk appears the better machine.
I've never used Nilfisk though so can't comment on quality / reliability.
If you opt for the Nilfisk then add a suitable turbo nozzle and you'll be OK for DIY.
If you intend to do any paid work for anyone though I would say don't waste your money.

Exactly...I always think its better to spend a bit more for something reliable, for domestic or business use.
