Youve probably got a tiny bit of rubber at the top that has been caught,or if youve cut the rubber down to size never use scissors use a scraper blade it gives a clean cut.

Could be:
1: Your rubber is getting worn on the corners.
2: You've not made a clean cut when cutting your rubber to fit.
3: You've got a small nick out of the rubber, inspect closely when it's dry.
4: Could even be too little or too much Fairy or similar.
