Daz,
Yes you will. I sold mine two years ago it was 4 1/2 years old with 42k on the clock, mint. dealer offered 1500 and I just managed to get 2200. I was surprised and gutted. There was a large amount of them for sale when I was selling mine.

The first Berlingo vans had 1.8 engines and power steering was an optional extra - so if you are considering an old R, or T plate please bear that in mind. Personally, power steering may not have been an issue with a courier, but we need power steering with the weight we carry.

Be careful of the gear boxes on them though as mine went at 114K and was told by the garage that he was surprised it lasted that long.

He said the weight of the 350ltrs of water sloshing probably didn't help the either.

He said that the gearboxes are the same as they use in the cars so not up to handing the weight that the likes of us and builders carry.

That's a new one on me and I sold them for many years through a Citroen Main Dealer. You may get the odd box problem as you would on any vehicle, but it wasn't a problem box. The gearbox on the Citroen Relay/Peugeot Boxer 1994 to about 1999 was a different story though. They lost syncromesh on 2nd and 3rd gears mainly due to water ingress into the box which damaged the syncro cones. PSA partially corrected the problem after that and then changed the box when the HDi engine was introduced in 2002 as all the ratios altered with the new common rail engine.

That's a very tidy job there - most professional. I'm just off to hang my head in shame over my mobile skip! :)

Nice looking set-up but the clear hose is a potential trip hazard. It would be easy for some one to sue if they tripped over a clear hose.
