how should you employ some one paye or self employed and how do you cover your self in bad weather

self employment, is being cracked down on, if they only get there work from you and no one else, then they are not self employed any more

put them on a 16 h contract,  with more hours if neeeded, that way if goes quiet  u only have to pay them 16 hours pay

i dont employ,  if i need someone i get the lad next door, and pay him cash in hand  for the odd day that i need some one

rate all depends on if thay are new and dont know any thing or are experienced

i just learnt a few lesson on tax and employment from my previous business, when it use to bit me in the arse
