i have a astra van and use it every day,  u can get a 300 ok,  but if you want to use the back seats you have to stick to a 125 tank upright or a 250 upright,  i use a 125 with my back seats in use, and have room for di, pump, battery, reel and 2 trad buckets,

We fitted a flat 400lt in an Astravan, then took it to the local scrap merchant and put it on the weighbridge so we could check how much water we could put in.

All up, with ladders, all eqipment and driver the difference was...........415kg :o

We never filled the tank to the brim, too much risk of overloading.

Having said that, has anyone ever checked how much water you can get in a "400lt" tank?

It's not much more that 325lt ::)
