helping hand and insurance issues
« on: January 28, 2010, 05:34:10 pm »
I'm needing a hand and looking at my options i need help  ???
I would like to take someone on part time, and my mate who has a WC round wants to do the same .So we thought 1 person 50% with me & 50% with my mate.
Now where we get stuck is on Insurance, so we thought use him as a sub contractor with his own PL insurance. But i think we would also have to have insurance if he had a fall or what ever.
Any ideas on the best way to go about this,

why go 50percent with someone is my initial thought

Why dont you employ someone on £7 an hour? or you & your mate partner up?

Ryan it's the same as taken someone on part time but i want them as selfemployed.  With my mate offering the same it can give someone a full time job as self employed .
