I am a window cleaner. I believe that if you want to take up window cleaning as a profession the very first thing you should do is learn the squeegee.

If you then ignore the advantages of wfp then you are a silly billy.

I use both methods, some windows are crap WFP and are better trad,it's swings and roundabouts, thats why I use both methods of cleaning ;)
I think trad is an art, alot of newbies go straight for the pole method and when asked to do a internal clean have'nt got a clue where to start,70% of my work is WFP but will never hang up the mop and blade :)

Shop fronts, bungallows can be done just as quick trade than it is WFP and thats without the Wagtail,I once seen a guy doing a shop front in Leatherhead's high street, the window was about 6 x 8 feet,I sat eating my sandwich from Greggs bakery and timed him pulling up and packing up,by the time this guy got his hose reel out etc. the window could be done 10 times over trad way,ah well ,he obviously did'nt know how to use a mop and blade ;D ;D ;)
I think it's essential to use trad as well as WFP ;)

If you know how to use a bog brush you should have no problem with wfp. :D

WINDOW CLEANING IS JUST A  WAY OF TURNING WATER INTO MONEY

How you choose to do it  is up to you. It makes no difference to me. I prefer to use WFP, what others do is their business.

Why some people get so worked up about it is beyond me. However the safety issued is valid IMO. I am not keen on leaving the occasional head shaped dent in people's patios

What is wrong with filling tank via di ?
IMO tank di pump is wrong, only water in my tank is 000 or I would be checking my tds meter all the time.

I have no di at all in my vans and works very well :-\

For me it's not a trad or WFP issue, both can do a good job.
It is very much a ladders and no ladders issue, and getting the job done a bit quicker.

I think this comment says it all. You need to have both skills.

Both trad and wfp are tools you have to use them correctly or you will do a poor job
