40-40 booster pump packed up
« on: January 27, 2010, 07:49:35 pm »
Hi all, I've got a pumped 40-40 system that's about 2 years old and the booster pump has packed up.

Switched it on tonight and nothing >:(

Changed the fuse, still nothing >:( >:(

Anybody know anything about these? Can I get it fixed?  It's RO-man (of course!!)

Currently running off the mains but it's very slow and I'm only getting about 30psi.  Water from the RO is about 32ppm - still coming out of the DI at 0 but I don't expect the resin to last long :'(

If I can't get it repaired, anyone know where I can get a replacement and how much?

I would think you need to know the psi needed to drive the water throught the filter and what litres per minute.I bought a pump correct pSI but not enough litre per min and dilivery is to slow.but little waste water.
