i have been offered a job , the head of maintenance said the top windows are 65 ft high its 6 floors, the way the guy was speaking it was a name your price type of job ( i clean 1 of the companies directors house ) he asked for me to be contacted

are my only options the SL2 ? ? ? ? or fishing pole equvilant ? ? ? ?

i have used my fishing pole 50 ft, but this job is big and alot of glass ( some of the building is just a glass panel ) and from the way the guy was speaking will need to be done every 2 - 3 months ( depending on how things go ), so i dont want to struggle

thats 2 commercial jobs in the same week, both recommendations

funny, your phone doesnt ring for months ( commercial work-wise ) and then 2 in 1 week

ive got to find the time to pop down and look at the job first, its 2 hours away, but if its going to be a name your price type of job ( i know they dont allways last, so i might aswell cash in while i can ) , it'll be worth it,

itll be worth it just for the experience of working at that height once you feel comfortable at that height you can go for more work of similar height and will gain more work if you use it in your portfolio

i was thinking of working out how many days it will take, then think of a nice amount i want to earn per day, thus a total

its down the M4 aswell, which at the end of the day will get busy, so it might take longer to get home, though i guess i could start early and finish very late, less chance of traffic then aswell

matt if its a nice earning job why dont you sub it out to somewhere more competent working at that height that lives nearer the site you earn a nice chunk for doing little and someone else will earn a nice wage
