By some views its this, but personally if you want a similar van to what you have id go for the vivaro/trafic
which is what I got. Or even the new Expert which is what sky are goung over too, not too tall and can still get a large tank in the back.

i have a astravan which does the job just fine, i'm saving up for a vauxhall combo so i can have an upright tank and have more space in the back,

steven842 if your gonna get a combo get a 1.7cdti cause there 100bhp and 170lb ft  torque the 1.2 cdti is only 74bhp and 124lb ft torque.

if your gonna carry a big tank the more power the better

What size fish tank do you need in the back ? Or what kind of weight do you carry with water and all equipment ?
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Assuming a high roof and 1200kg payload this one is the correct answer.Ladders fit inside roof, two side doors, small enough to park on drives.
vivaros and trannies etc only have one side door, require an uinsigthly and time consuming roof rack, and carry less than 1000kg- in other words they are always second choice for a two man domestic op.

LWB high roof transit, fantastic van with a 650ltr 2 man set up, 3 seats, loads of room and my ladders are even inside the van which is so much easier and safer
