Salt

For the eggheads out there..Why can't you add salt to your water tank to

a) stop it freezing
b) stop it freezing on the glass
c) stop the water freezing when it drips onto the custys footpath

 
The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

Someone out there with more knowledge than me will probably say why you can't use it, so until then, i will not be trying it. ;)

If it's wfp, it's because the water wouldn't be pure. It would have salt dissolved in it which would leave spots on the window.
