Neoprene Unger Gloves

I got joka gloves which are brill for poling but a mate of mine has unger which he only uses for trad not poling as he said they ware quickly when using the pole, I know its been asked before but never looked at the threads as was never interested but what are your take on these for trad work.

They're great for trad. They do wear on the thumbs mostly but you end up taking them off after about half anhour cos your hands get so toasty! I  wear em sometimes for pole work but rarely. I don't find they wear any faster than when i did trad

I bought a pair a few weeks back and there quite different from the last pair I bought, and I think much improved not much grip though but hands where definitely warmer, time will tell how they will last, but then I don't usually wear gloves unless its really cold anyway so I'll probably get a couple of years out of them.  :)

Just make sure you get em wet cos that's how they stay warm!

i bought some but sold them on e bay,they were crap find it better not wearing gloves,

i did have a pair what i done was cut off the top of the tumb and next finger so i could keep them on and still write slips out and change money up.


dont wear any now for trad like to fill the scrim.

glacier perfect curve gloves £20 from thewindowcleancentre.keep ur hands nice and warm and dry!and great for building snowmen and igloos!! ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

Neoprine gloves dont last very long
even when using them trad
If you try to wring out your scrim
the seams open up
and you get wet hands
