Ladders
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:28:08 am »
Hello everyone, I am just about to begin my new life as a W/C. Could anyone please advise me on what length of ladder would be best to start off with. I'll be looking to clean up to two story houses to start off. I just don't want to fork out for a ladder that isn't up for the job!!! Thanks alot in advance, sorry if it sounds like a stupid question! Happy New Year!

If you are doing ground / first floors then 3.5m doubles seem to be the most popular size.
Do all the good you can, and make as little fuss about it as possible.

I have 3m for the smaller houses too. One cottage I do I can use the 8ft pointer I have for the top windows!  ;D

i have

3m doubles
4m doubles, which are great for council houses, because i can just "half the ladder" and walk about with it.
