Do you think these machines could be used for cleaning your mess up when driveway cleaning and adapted for gutter cleaning,Dan

Yes
Ive already spoken to them. They will easily draw all of your waste back onto the waste container but then you need to dispose, so you will need a continual pump out, they do supply them. I looked at using this machine as part of a vacuum recovery loop.

They pump out a gallon/sec . I was look at a similar thought with the gutter vac and I could use the vac for other uses - I cleaned an oil store on Tuesday with a CFM 3000 and vacced about 750 ltrs from the bunded floor. With regards the drives and a water reclaim system I think that piston pumps are the wrong pump - A diaphragm pump would be better as they will run grey water without problem and you will only need to filter enough to suit the nozzles.
Are you looking to reclain or just to clean up as you go on the drives ?

I was just thinking of cleaning all your sludge instead of using bucket and spade, also for jobs with poor drainage, you would have the kit for the general cleaning shown on the site, gutters, drains, spillages etc, then maybe extend pipes for gutters or connect to a pole,i just think this could be more adaptable than just the gutter vac, thanks for your reply, dan

You would be able to add a heater coil, vac snow, connect the outlet to your pressure washer and remove gum with the hot water :

I think I've been sat indoors too long - I'm going to try and get out tomorrow and do a drain survey

No not busy at all, my van is empty and my gear is in my lock up.I will have it all serviced and get my new van in march to start up again, hopefully I won`t stop from March till September like my first 2 years.I don`t fancy trying to clean drives in the winter,no one wants it and you can`t sand or seal so whats the point.I sealed and coloured my printed drive the end of last year and i`ve got 5 jobs to do in Spring to kick things off, that`s just with people walking past and seeing how good it came out,the sealer was superb,i added colour but will be adding some anti slip in future as it`s been lethal in this icy weather.Going to try and add a few other services as i`ve got the maintenance on two shopping parades and two luxury flat developments,2010 is definately going to be busier than 2009.Bored stiff at the minute though.
