I admire the guy for putting the video up because what its done is to bring the guy's together on here who use the limpet.
Maybe we can all see the error of using Just the one limpet but its Jogged my memory as to the only time I had a problem using mine and that was on slippy wet welsh slate, even going 3 rungs up my ladder it began to slide backwards but I'm talking real slippy stuff because even with the limpet on I had someone foot my ladder and with me being up the ladder it began to push the persons feet back to, so when that happens its time to leave that type of window because no safety device can give you 100% security 100% of the time.
All in all though the ladder limpet is as easy to put on and take off as the guy showed in his video.
I have 2 sets of them and even the inventor Ian Menelaus didn't realise they could be used the way I did as a double set and that was one set fitted as usual and I installed the second set further up the ladder onto a pitched roof, this enabled me to do windows and guttering above this type of roof because that ladder wasn't going any where, if anyone wishes to see? I have a piccy somewhere on my PC of both sets along with a stand off in use while I clean guttering.
At least the limpet never walks off when a mobile phone rings, unlike someone once did when footing my ladder for me :
