Marble floor
« on: January 06, 2010, 04:00:02 pm »
Hi,

we just took over a new contract today and on the reception they
have marble floor, the problem is that the marble looks terrible,
first a lot of stains and a lot of polish, they told us to try our best.
Wich one is the best method to do this job?
Can I use a stripp and a black pad to remove the polish or not?
Should I use a polish after to look shiny, any sealant?
Many Thanks

The only way to get this to shine is to Diamond polish the floor, quite a specialised job and prices start from £40 sqm, or you could us a crystalizer but you need to know what you are doing with this as well, not the best option but the cheaper of the two.

Hi

Firstly donot use black floor pads on marble as it is to aggresive and will scratch the face of the stone.
The stain marks are they light or dark marks because they might be etch marks.
Find out what treatments that have been applied to the floor in the past eg crystalization,

email me using my profile address
