Was at my local hyd hose place this morning, getting the ends chopped off and re fitted to a sol hose (flipping frost)
Quoted me £5.16 per m + vat,on new non marking h/pres hose, then another £14 to have the 2 ends fitted.i make that £55.28 + vat.
Anyone find cheaper than this ?

So did I Richie, but its an odd length 8 metres - usually 15metres (50' ish) , or 100' (but thats us TMers I supose).

(weird this - dealing in metres and feet at the same time)

In the days when I ran with detergents and heat, like Mark, I too was always repairing my solution hoses. I had 100 then later 135psi.

My conclusion was that the 300psi rating must be with cold water and that when running hot, the 300psi rating came tumbling down and hose bursts were a common occurance. When I changed to 3000psi T/M hose, the problem disappeared.

Spend a few more pounds today for T/M hose and save buckets of cash, and the embarrasement of breakdowns,  in the future. It's safer too.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
